Lenten Dinner and Worship

Lenten Worship.png

Our Lenten mid-week worship this year is centered on the call to ‘Draw the Circle Wide’ – that is, to see God’s presence woven into stories, lives, and traditions very different than our own. Each week, we will gather for a simple service of prayer, scripture, and song. Following worship, we will hear from The Rev. Terry Kyllo, director of Neighbors in Faith, and our own Muslim and Jewish neighbors to hear stories of God’s spirit at work in their lives and spiritual practices.

Beginning with Ash Wednesday, March 6, a simple soup supper will be served at 6:00 pm, followed by Lenten Evening Worship at 7:00 pm. Each family is asked to provide a salad to share, while HSLC will provide bread and soup. Even though each household provides salad only once during Lent, you are invited and encouraged to come to dinner and worship every week.

Please bring salad on the week designated by the first letter of your last name.
