YOUTH & FAMILY COMMITTEE
Youth Leadership groups

Throughout the past few years, our Youth & Family Committee has gone through many changes. Three planning teams are now active, each with their own specific purpose to join together to help meet the continually growing needs of youth ministry. All the committees welcome any comments, suggestions, concerns and also your time and gifts if you would like to join a team.

5th/6th Grade Planning Team -- A team of 7-8 parents that meet once every month or two to plan monthly fellowship opportunities for the 5th/6th graders.

7th/8th Grade Planning Team -- A team of 8-10 parents who lead the monthly Confirmation Fellowship Nights for our Confirmation youth.

Youth Leadership Council -- A team of youth (9th-12th grade) that meet throughout the year to help in planning and making decisions about the youth ministry calendar and program.

If you would like to join the YLC, contact Pollie McCloskey at the church office.

Adult Advisors:Jeff Hall, Royal Hanson, Gail Anderson

Other adults are welcomed to participate. Contact Alan Rogstad through the church office for information. Holy Spirit Lutheran Church is committed to keeping children safe, and so asks that all adults volunteering in ministries with children and youth undergo a background screening. Our guidelines are outlines in a “Safe Haven” policy, available in our church office. We also ask that you attend a training session so you are familiar with this policy and have the opportunity to ask questions. Contact the church office to register for the next class or obtain the class schedule.
