Children, Youth & Family Ministry of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church is dedicated to the spiritual growth of youth and families through Christian education and faith in action.

HSLC’s Children, Youth and family programs are built for families by a diverse supportive community. Your financial support makes a great impact in the lives of the many children & youth. Holy Spirit Lutheran Preschool A church ministry open to children in the congregation and community
Sunday Morning Programs Sunday Morning Programs are held during the school year for children birth through 12th grade
Confirmation Classes Information on our 3-year confirmation preparation course (7-9th Grade)
Spirited Home Bring faith into your home, in the way that fits your family best
New Parent Ministries Outreach for families expanding through birth, adoption and fostering
Parents Coffee Break New program on 3rd Friday of the month to give parents a break
Jubilate Give your child the gift of music with Jubilate, a multi-age children’s choir program
Little Spirits Fellowship and easy service projects for families and children birth through pre-kindergarten
K-4 Fellowship Fellowship and service opportunities for children in Kindergarten through 4th grade
Route 56 Fellowship activities mixed with service projects for children in 5th and 6th grade
Bible Basics Class Introduction to the Bible for children in the 2nd grade and older
Communion Connections Introduction to Communion for children in the 3rd grade
Rocking Spirits Wednesday night group with activities for children in Kindergarten through 6th grade
Junior High Ministries Activities and events for 7th & 8th grade youth
Oasis 9th-12th Grade Ministries Activities and events for 9th through 12th grade youth
VBS One week of fun and Christian education every Summer
Summer Camp Camp opportunities for Children (3rd – 6th grade) and Youth
Safe Haven Training for adults working with children and youth

Educational and Fellowship activities are planned by the Youth and Family Ministry Committee. If you would like to join our team, please join us the 1st Tuesday of each month at committee night. Childcare is available.

Holy Spirit Lutheran Church is committed to keeping children safe, and so asks that all adults volunteering in ministries with children and youth undergo a background screening. Our guidelines are outlines in a “Safe Haven” policy, available in our church office. We also ask that you attend a training session so you are familiar with this policy and have the opportunity to ask questions. Contact the church office to register for the next class or obtain the class schedule.
