HSLC's Sunday School Program

Sunday School is out for the summer. This past year, we have had some very dedicated Sunday School leaders. They were recently honored during worship services for the dedication, faithfulness and education they gave to our children this past year. Please take the time to thank them personally for all their work and dedication.

  • Infant/Toddler – Ruth & Liz
  • Rainbow Kids – Doreen (9:30), Marilyn, Rachel & Kristin (11:00)
  • Elementary – Susan (9:30), Kathy (11:00)

Although Sunday School is out, we have Summer Family Worship during the summer.

Summer Family Worship:

Children learn to worship by attending with their parents and the rest of the community. Children ages 3 through 2nd grade will have an opportunity to experience worship in a fun, safe, learning environment beginning June 13 during Family Worship Sundays.

The children will start in the sanctuary with their families and about 10-15 minutes into the service they will be invited up for the Children’s Message. Once they have heard a message, they will go with Becky Cole and other adults across the hall into the fellowship hall to hear a reading and related message meant just for them. We will also sing songs, say prayers and a few other fun activities that will vary week to week.

The children will then rejoin their families in the sanctuary during the sharing of the peace. Parents with children under the age of 4 are encouraged to attend with their child. All parents are welcome to attend the session in the fellowship hall.

Come see what our Sunday Children’s Worship is all about!!!
