This new ministry is continuing to grow and we look forward to another exciting new year! We work under the mission:
We are called to promote the wholeness of body, mind and spirit for the members and friends on HSLC.
Thank you to all who contributed to raising funds for an "AED" defibrillator for HSLC!! Your contributions totaled to almost $1,500 which covered the cost of a defibrillator and all necessary accessories, training and upkeep involved!
The defibrillator is now installed in the church's entry hallway and the Wellness Committee has hosted training sessions for HSLC staff in April.
This past year we have continued to support the growth of the prayer shawl ministry as well as providing devotional books for new mothers and wellness articles in the monthly newsletter. We have inventoried and updated our first aid kits as well as are in the process of providing improved signage for their location. Here is a list of our accomplishments in 2008.
